DIY lighting inspirations

Hello Defined Designers!

So for about a year and a half I have been contemplating the idea of designing and creating lighting fixtures. But I had put the idea on hold. Today I was inspired! I was browsing through the latest issue of California Home+Design and I came across the most inspiring lighting fixture. The fixture entitled “The prototype lamp” is made by Matt Gagnon. His amazing fixture is made from constructed wood pieces which are then encased in yarn. This great find inspired me to start creating my own designs. I’ll be sure to post some of my DIY projects soon! Stay tuned…
